Say goodbye to 2021 and hello to 2022 at Opera Kitchen.

 

This year's event will be the talk of the town with live entertainment all night and an array of canapes throughout the evening.

 

As one of the most sought-after locations for NYE, you will have waterside views of both the 9pm & world-famous midnight firework displays.

 

Doors open from 5pm with live performances from some of Sydney’s most talented artists to set the scene for a NYE to remember.

 

This is an over 18s only event.

Tickets include: Entry to Opera Kitchen, front row views to the Sydney Harbour Bridge fireworks display, live entertainment and all food throughout the evening. Tickets are limited.

Is this an over 18's event?

This is an over 18’s event, persons under the age of 18 are not permitted. Proof of age identification must be presented before entrance to the event. Identification must match the name on the ticket, entered at the time of purchase.

Is this a seated event?

No this is not a seated event.

How crowded will it be?

Opera Kitchen will be in compliance with all current government regulations in relation to COVID 19. The event will be vibrant but there will be enough space to feel comfortable.

When does entertainment start?

Entertainment starts at 5pm and continues all night. This year we are highlighting local Sydney talent and supporting those musicians who have had their livelihoods impacted by Covid over the last 2 years. 

What is the dress code?

While the event is themed and guests are encouraged to dress up, we have a smart casual dress code. “Dress up” is recommended (a lot of people do) but not compulsory. For this year’s party we are bringing disco vibes to the harbour so think Studio 54, sparkles and more!

I have a dietary requirement - can you cater for me?

Please let us know at least 7 days in advance by email operakitchen@solotel.com.au. You will also need to make yourself known to our food stall staff on the night.

How do I change a name on my ticket?

Name on ticket may be changed once only after initial purchase, please email operakitchen@solotel.com.au

What time can I get there?

Doors open at 5pm. If you arrive before 5pm you will be required to queue for entry until the doors open. Ticketholders can come any time after we open however we recommend getting as close to “on time” as possible.

What about dancing, can I dance?

Yes. The current NSW govenment restrictions will allow us to dance the night away.

How much alcohol is included in the ticket?

There is no alcohol included in the ticket price. There will be many bars throughout the venue and drinks are on consumption. Opera Kitchen practices the responsible service of alcohol.

Do I need a special pass to get into the CBD?

You are required to obtain a permit to enter the Sydney CBD on New Year’s Eve. To get a permit, you must apply via the Service NSW website and have a booking inside the zone. For more information visit Service NSW.

You must have your Opera Kitchen NYE ticket and Service NSW permit with you to enter the Sydney CBD precinct on New Year’s Eve.

How much food is included in the ticket?

There will be multiple canapes available across the night.

Will there be a cloak room?

There are no cloaking facilities available on the night. It’s summer in Sydney on NYE and generally jackets are not required for warmth.
